Something for everyone

I love sending out cards

So many different occasions

Birthday, get well, thinking of you, engagement, wedding, sympathy, Baptism, just because, new job, new house, going away to college, miss you, missed you while you were away, going on vacation, new driver, congratulations, encouragement, Hanukkah, Valentines, Christmas, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Labor Day, 4th of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Sweetest Day Memorial Day, Columbus Day, Casmir Pulaski Day, Veteran’s Day, President’s Day, New Year’s, April Fools, Friendship Day, Confirmation, Communion, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Grandparent’s Day. Forgive me if I forgot one or two.

When a holiday or an occasion comes around my family and friends know that they’ll be getting a card from me. I want them to know that I’m thinking about them for whatever reason.

Keep in touch with those you love, send a card

  1. Maddie gets cards from her Grandma for every one of those I think. It is the highlight of the day when that card arrives in the mail. So few people use snail mail these days.

As the Grandma, I send cards to my grandsons the way my mother sent them to my kids when they were little. I totally enjoy doing it and love to get the “Thanks, Grandma” when they call. Your advice to “keep in touch with those you love” is a beautiful reminder.
